A piece done for the Art in a Time of War class. For this assignment, we had to create a visual based upon a war story we have faced in our lives. I have no ties to the military so I decided to base my war story on gun control. I am highly critical of gun culture and have not felt safe in public spaces in a long time. I wanted to highlight the price of gun culture with this piece. I was inspired by the work of Kate Kretz and included them in my collage.
